Affinion’s Membership and Affinity Business

The Affinion Group enhances adapted advertising programs for partners in Affinity, a division of a larger marketing company. These programs involve numerous goods and services distributed to the partners and clients. They are developed to boost client relationships and to create significant and increasing revenues.

Affinion sets up a variety of media including web-based campaigns and direct mail, bundling the product offers’ profits on a substantially targeted basis. By June 30, 2007, the group had over 5,200 Affinity partners in various industries such as retail, telecommunications, utilities, insurance, monetary assistance, and online solution suppliers. Some of Affinion’s many partners are Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Staples, CompUSA, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sears, Macy’s and Société Générale.

Affinion’s clients can avail of its programs and services directly from the company or the services delivered through the group’s Affinity partner branded program. This depends on the quality of the relationship the group has with an Affinity partner. In June 2007, the group boasted of an estimated 70 million clients registered in its programs from around the world.

Moreover, Affinion makes deals with third-party retailers in supplying its services and goods’ components. Usually, partnerships with retailers are managed by long-standing bonds. With the integration of retailer services with Affinion’s in-house capabilities, it now has the capability to offer numerous goods and assistance with profits and support that represent various combinations of benefit configurations, branding, and pricing.
